Public Safety Updates:

UPCOMING BOAT STORAGE AUDIT – 4/15/24

An initial review of Boat Ramp storage has revealed the following:

· A multitude of boats do not have current BT registration decals properly affixed to the left front of the vessel per our rules and regulations.

· Some boats are not being stored in the correct spaces.

· Many boat owners have not paid registration fees or storage fees for 2024, yet their boats are still present.

Bent Tree Public Safety will be conducting an official audit of the Boat Ramp beginning on Monday 4/15/24. During this audit, the following will occur:

· Boats being stored without payment for 2024 will be removed. At that point, a $150 delinquent storage fee will be due per boat.

· Citations will be issued to owners who have their boats stored in the wrong spaces and have not affixed current BT registration decals.

Please understand that minor things like a missing decal result in complaints to our department that cost us a great deal of time. So we ask that property owners please take time over the next week to ensure all of the above issues are corrected prior to the audit.

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

This beautiful , very sweet girl was found on Alpine. When we took her to be checked at the vet we found out she already spayed. She was someone’s kitty. Please share her picture in case her family sees this post. She is up for adoption if no family comes forward. We are calling her Tawny.

We adopted out 4 cats and one dog last week which was amazing, and we got several new cats in. Always lots happening at the Bent Tree Animal Shelter.

If your dog gets lost let Public Safety know and post on Next Door  and Facebook. If Public Safety has a resident bring your dog in, they will bring it to the shelter for care.
