Work Session
The Bent Tree Board of Directors will be holding a Monthly Work Session on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 in the Recreation Room at Club Tamarack at 6:30 pm.

This is an in-person meeting and will be videoed for later viewing.

A link of the recorded meeting will be sent out next Friday in the Friday News.

Heating Safety and Fire Prevention


Relaxing by a fireplace, heater, or just in a warm area of the home can be very enjoyable during the winter months. However, various methods of heating come with risks if proper safety measures are not used. According to the National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA), heating is the 2nd leading cause of home fires and home fire injuries. Grilled Black Angus Sirloin Steak and a Jumbo Crab cake with a lemon dill aioli served with roasted butternut squash and basil risotto.



Saturday, November 5th - $29.95

Roasted Lamb Shank over great northern beans and sautéed spinach.  Served with Salad and rolls.




Sunday, November 6th - $15.95

Beginning the week of November 7th, The Tavern will begin Winter Hours and be closed on Mondays and Wednesdays.  Hours will be as follows.

Monday- Closed

Tuesday- 10:30 am- 8 pm

Wednesday- Closed

Thursday- 10:30 am- 8 pm

Friday- 10:30 am- 8 pm

Saturday- 8 am- 8 pm (Breakfast served until 10:30 am)

Sunday- 10:30 am- 3 pm (Bar service only)

Sunday Brunch at Club Tamarack- 9am-2pm

We are now taking orders for Thanksgiving Side Dishes.  Order forms are available online here or you can pick up forms at Administration or at The Tavern.

*We will operate on normal tee times. Frost Delays/Shotgun starts at 10:30a.m. will be implemented on an as needed basis*



Special home or foster needed!
Sweet Shadow needs a special foster or adoption home.  Shadow is a sweet, shy girl who has tested positive for feline leukemia and should be an only kitty.  She may grow out of it but only time will tell.  She probably inherited this from her mother.  She was found in the villas a few months ago and is not yet a year old.  She has been spayed and loves being petted.




If you are missing this little kitten let us know.  He was found on Crippled Oak Trail this week. He is very loving and very used to people.  If you are interested in Shadow, or know this little kitten who we named Winston, or would like to meet any of our kitties at the Bent Tree Shelter please call or text LuAnn at 678-414-1047.

This Saturday, Nov 5th Partners Program – Bent Tree History as told by Chris Feldt!

Learn the background of the quarry, how the original front gate entrance differs from today's, and so much interesting history of the Bent Tree Community!

Come at 9 a.m. to enjoy socializing, coffee and donuts. The program starts at 9:30 a.m. in the lower level of Club Tamarack. L&W is open to all residents.

Holiday Poinsettia Sales are going on now. Forms are at Admin or the Mail Center or can be printed from the web site. Also online sales available from the L&W page of the BT web site.
