Public Safety Updates:

HOME FIRE SAFETY HAZARDS

As mentioned last week, we will be focusing on providing fire safety information more geared toward children for a little while. However, the information contained is valuable for all ages. It’s important that everyone in a home has a good understanding of basic fire safety and hazards to be on the lookout for. Please follow the link below to our website to watch a short video that covers exactly that.

HOME FIRE SAFETY BASICS

A Note From the AC

All exterior work, new, modifications, or replacement of existing structures, i.e. decks, sheds, retaining walls, roofs, fences, steps, driveways, painting, as well as tree removal must be approved in advance by the Architectural Committee or the Coordinator.  There are emergency exceptions for tree removal or roof repair due to storm damage, etc. but forms should still be turned in a prompt manner for our records.

News From the Courts Pro

JoyHouse Pickleball Tournament

The 4th Annual JoyHouse Pickleball Tournament was a huge success. 350 players from all over GA, FL, and AL registered for the 3 day event. We could not have managed to impress our visitors without the support of our volunteer community here in Bent Tree. Mother Nature made her presence known with two different torrential rain storms on Friday and Saturday, causing some delays. But in typical Bent Tree fashion, we all rose to the occasion, and ensured all games were able to be completed. Tons of great compliments were received on our beautiful community and the tournament staff's hospitality. Thank you all! This tournament continues to grow exponentially year over year.

Our Tennis and Pickleball Scholarship Tournament is approaching fast! Please consider playing or at a minimum, please support this wonderful endeavor by the Bent Tree Foundation.

You say you don’t have a dog or cat so don’t even know about us … well without us you would see lots of dogs and cats running all around Bent Tree . We have saved the lives and adopted out hundreds of cats and dogs over the last 12 years, through our !00% volunteer run , 100% Donation supported animal shelter.

THANK YOU BENT TREE -- WE WILL SEE YOU NEXT MONDAY .

Thank you again for all of your incredible support! We are busier than we ever imagined, and we’re excited to be bringing on more staff to ensure you continue to receive the great service you deserve. News from The Stables

This summer has been highly productive at the Bent Tree Stales. Between youth fest and summer day camp 200 children had the pleasure of getting to know the horses. During the week of youth fest, there were 50 riders on the trail and 150 arena riders. Even though school has started, trail rides and arena rides are still available for youth and for adults. There is more great news, this year the cohort of camp counselors were top notch. There was no dram amongst the campers and the campers had a safe, fun and educational time.

Mark your calendar and save the date for November 16. The Bent Tree Saddle Club, a public membership organization, is going to hold a fundraiser "What A Ride" for the purpose of making life better for the horses. The event will only cost $40.00 pr person for dinner and entertainment and there will be some fun activities at the event as well. We hope we see you there, and some of your friends too.

Also, please note that trail and arena rides are suspended during the week of September 7 -15. So, reserve your ride for the remaining days in August or later in September. We sure hope to see you and your friends and family on the trails soon!
