Administration Updates:

Sign Orders

The signs will begin installation on Monday. They wanted to begin earlier this week, but one of their two-man team welcomed a baby girl on Monday!

We already have 9 of the 10 needed for the next round of orders as well!

Did You Know:

Signs identifying individual improved lots are mandatory for the safety of all property owners.  911 address is to be included on the sign. Lot identification signs are located at the front of the property, near the driveway; These signs are considered a "casual encroachment" of Bent Tree Right of Way if placed outside the front property line. Cedar posts/signs can be ordered through the Administration Office. If the property owner chooses to use this style of lot identification sign a request form is not necessary. Any other style or type of sign must be approved by the AC. An illustration of this sign and ordering instructions are on the Bent Tree web site. Go to the table of contents for instructions pertaining to how to obtain this document.

Next Thursday is a presentation from the Master Gardeners on Preparing for Wildfires with Firescaping. This is a great time to learn from the experts how to keep your home or business safe.

Transponder Renewals – DON’T WAIT

There are less than 30 days left to renew your transponders for 2024. Many residents have already handled this and found the new process to be very quick and easy. Transponders not renewed before 3/1/2024 will be deactivated. Because of the major audit completed last year, the process for 2024 renewal is much simpler. Bent Tree Stables calling all Volunteers

Happy New Year and Happy Trails. If you make New Year Resolutions (the act or process of resolving or solving) we want to be on your list. Resolution comes from the word Resolute. At Bent Tree Stables we are resolute, as defined by Merriam Webster Dictionary, as “firmly determined in purpose” and Bent Tree Stables is resolute to be the best riding stable in Pickens County and beyond...way beyond. To achieve our goals, we need your help. The Bent Tree Stables needs volunteers. We would like adult volunteers for Events, Decorating, Housekeeping, Stable hand, Youth camps and more. The time you dedicate is determined by your schedule. You don’t have to be a horse person; you just have to be willing. Call us and let us know how you can help. PS. Working in, around, and for the barn is like going to the spa, seriously, there is a zen equine essence. You have to be in the now, so any stuff you worry about for yesterday or tomorrow, drifts away as you focus on your simple task at hand. However, we acknowledge that the aromas may be different than a spa. Call today (706) 692-6322. See you at the stable!
