Update: General Manager Search

The search for a new general manager for Bent Tree is, we all hope, nearing an end. The search committee recently hosted one of two finalists for the position, who met with administrative officials, Board of Directors members and Bent Tree department heads.
A second candidate will be visiting the first week in December and it is hoped the board will make a decision in mid-December. In the meantime, Controller Melissa Leach remains in charge.

GateHouse is an online guest management service that can be accessed via computer or app on your phone/tablet.  Once setup with GateHouse, residents can add their own guests, send electronic passes, and be automatically notified of guests’ arrival at the gate. The GateHouse guide for Bent Tree residents can be found in the Public Safety section of the Bent Tree website or by following this link GateHouse Guide. Although the guide contains everything residents need to know, below is some information that Public Safety receives frequent questions about:

- The website to access GateHouse is https://benttree.gatehouseportal.com.  If the generic credentials noted in the GateHouse guide do not work, please call Public Safety at 770-893-2628 to have your username or password reset.

- The most common question Public Safety receives is regarding the “client code”.  The client code is 190190.

Thank you for your interest in using this great resource.  It is a tremendous help to Public Safety for residents to add their own guests.

TAMARACK TREASURES ANNOUNCEMENT
As you change your decorations from Fall to Winter, you may be wanting to downsize. We will be happy to take the décor and serving items you no longer intend to use if you set them aside for us.
We will have a one-day collection of your gently loved Fall and Winter items on Friday, January 13, from 10:30 until 11:30 at the lower level of Club Tamarack. Your donations will benefit the projects of Bent Tree’s Lake & Wildlife Committee.  Thank you and Happy Holidays!
This friendly, beautiful cat was hanging out on Locust Trail and on Mulligan last month. Oreo, as we are calling kitty, loves being petted. We know she/he was used to being with people so someone should be looking for her.

If you recognize Oreo (notice the tiny white spot on her nose) please call or text LuAnn Chambers. 678-414-1047.

We have so many precious babies at the Bent Tree Animal Shelter that need forever homes. Please come meet them and find your newest buddy or view them on the website here.  A volunteer with the shelter will be glad to introduce you to the kitties.
