Public Safety Updates:

A Note from the Aquatics Team:

We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who came to the grill out at the upper pool on the 4th of July. We served over 200 hotdogs and burgers to a fun and hungry crowd – it was a sell out! Your presence made the event a fantastic success. We hope you enjoyed the food and had a great time celebrating with us!

Administration & Board Updates:

The Board of Directors is sorry to announce that Harold Ford will be relocating and has resigned from the Board of Directors.  We thank Harold for his service and wish him and Debbie the best as they embark on the next adventure in their lives.  Harold’s resignation creates an opening on the board that will be filled by a vote of the remaining directors.  The board would like to solicit interest from residents who would be interested in filling the balance of Harold’s term which ends in December of 2026.

If you are interested in filling this position, please send an email to buddycreef@bent-tree.com stating your interest and explaining why your presence on the board would be beneficial to the community.  Emails indicating interest will be accepted until July 19th.  After that, the board will set up interviews with interested residents in an attempt to fill the position as quickly as possible.

News From the Courts Pro

Yesterday marked our last day of YouthFest 2024. It’s been an honor for me personally to have met your children and grandchildren and hopefully plant the seed for their future development. The staff and volunteers have throughly enjoyed seeing the growth of your young athletes in our tennis and pickleball sessions even in the short amount of time we shared. Our goal was for the kids to have “fun” while learning. I know we accomplished that by the smiles and laughter on the courts. Thank you again for sharing your child with us and for the volunteers who helped out this week. Bent Tree residents have a big heart for volunteering. Enjoy the rest of your summer. Hope to see you again next year.

Sincerely, Coach Bob

News from The Stables

Thank you for Summer Successes!

Two weeks of summer camps have ended successfully. One week of ‘youthfest’ with 150 young people enjoying the horse life and two more weeks of summer camp this month. We appreciate our volunteers, and we couldn’t give the young people as positive an experience if it weren’t for the volunteers who lovingly dedicate their time to ensure the Bent Tree Stables is an enriching and safe place to experience horses.

We can always use volunteers. If you would like to become involved in the stables, call us and let us know how you would like to help. We appreciate everyone who pitches in whether it is mucking the stalls or donating a can of Lysol. Call today (706) 692-6322. See you at the stable!

PS. We hope some of you went tot he Japer Parade on Independence Day and saw the Riders of the Stable participate in this great tribute to our great country.
