Bent Tree Friday News

Bent Tree is very excited that our paving contractor is ahead of schedule with their work as they move through the projects in our community. Please be advised that we are aware there are areas along the new road where shoulders need to be built up to the pavement level. The contractor and/or our roadways staff will be completing this work in the near future.

Additionally, the asphalt has to cure for at least 15 days before the striping company will come to install the lines. We appreciate your patience as we work through this project period.

The Bent Tree Board of Directors will be holding a Monthly Board Meeting on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 in the Recreation Room at Club Tamarack at 9 am.

This is an in person meeting and will be videoed for later viewing.

A link of the recorded meeting will be sent out next Friday in the Friday News.

Congratulations to Cooper Smith on winning the Men’s Club Championship! This is Cooper’s second year winning, with scores of 75 & 72, he was able to hold off a charge from Shaun Leecock going into the back nine on Sunday. Mark Christensen sported a nice 79 for the comeback of the weekend, Mark Story was steady Eddie in the senior division, Jeff Kuebler took home the Super Senior P2 division while Bob Potts took honors in the Super Senior Red division.

Congratulations to all the winners! A big thank you John Leach and his crew for getting the course in good condition over the weekend with lots of prep work.

Your Bent Tree Animal Shelter is hopping with kittens, cats and our pup Smokey. Our volunteers go multiple times a day to care for and love on them all. Thank you to our devoted shelter volunteer team who love these babies like they were their own.
