Public Safety Updates:

REPORTING ASSISTANCE TO PUBLIC SAFETY

Our department takes concerns and incidents reported by residents very seriously, and we do our best to investigate and address them. However, we need assistance from residents regarding the timeliness of their reports and the details provided. Below are some reporting tips to keep in mind if you see something of concern:

1. Report concerns to Public Safety AS SOON AS POSSIBLE at 770-893-2628. We have recently received reports of injured animals, property damage, and other issues of concern long after the time the incidents were witnessed. This greatly hinders our ability to properly address the situation. As always, call 911 for emergencies.

2. If it can be done safely, try to provide descriptive details of who or what is involved. License plate numbers, photos, and videos are very helpful in most situations. Things of this nature can be emailed to publicsafety@bent-tree.com.

3. Please do not escalate the situation. It is generally best to allow Public Safety to address violations. Rule violations do not need to turn into major confrontations between residents or their guests. When that occurs, very simple situations can become extremely complicated.

Board Meeting

The Bent Tree Board of Directors will be holding a Monthly Board Work Session on Tuesday, July 23rd in the Recreation Room at Club Tamarack at 9 am.

This is an in person meeting and will be videoed for later viewing.

Fun Challenge at Bent Tree: Water Aerobics vs. Pickleball!

A few weeks ago, I issued a fun challenge to our water aerobics members. The pool, located next to The Courts at Bent Tree Tennis & Pickleball, often becomes the stage for some friendly banter and dueling music wars most mornings. The challenge was simple: the “Water Babes” would attend a pickleball session, and in return, our “pickleballers” would attend a water aerobics session.

Well… this morning, Sandy Bloyd delivered a “pickle tray” to recognize their acceptance of the challenge. The excitement is building, and there’s more to come! Stay tuned for updates on how this playful exchange unfolds.

Do you know this cat??
This cat was found on Horse Cove Court ( near the boat dock area) last week and is at our Bent Tree Shelter. He was wearing a flea collar when found and is very friendly. Please help us find his family.
Kitten Pre adoption is available. We have soooo many precious kittens that are needing to find homes. Even if not old enough to leave the shelter you can pre adopt and once vetting is done the kitty can go home with you.
Older cats that just need love are waiting for homes too.
We have an older cat who takes meds twice a day and needs a home or a medical foster. She always eats her pill in some cream cheese with no problem and fostering is a great option for her. We continue her medical costs .
